The South Carolina Property Manager license
The Property Manager license has its own 30-hour course and a state-only exam. It is not a step on the way to the Associate or Broker license.

The steps
- 01
Meet the basic requirements
You must be at least 18 and hold a high school diploma or a recognized equivalent.

Complete 30 hours of property management education
A law degree or a bachelor’s or higher degree in real estate can satisfy this requirement instead.
- 03
Apply and complete background checks
Submit the application with the $25 fee, then complete the fingerprint and Social Security number checks.
- 04
Pass the state exam
PSI administers the exam after the Commission approves your application. Pay the exam fee to PSI when you register.
- 05
Complete licensure
Pay $125 with a Supervision Attestation Form, or $250 with a Property Manager-in-Charge application.
